Bath Street Inn is a Santa Barbara bed and breakfast located in Downtown Santa Barbara, near Paseo Nuevo shopping center. The inn opened in 1981 in a restored 1890s Victorian building. It features a parlor with mountain views, a third-floor book library and business center, and a garden patio shaded by wisteria vines with fairy lights for evening ambiance.
Comfortable Guest Rooms
Rooms include air conditioning, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and hair dryers. Some feature whirlpool bathtubs, gas fireplaces, or private balconies with Santa Ynez Mountain views. The Wisteria Room has a Jacuzzi bathtub for two and private entrance. Susan's Loft Room on the third floor offers a queen bed and spacious balcony overlooking the mountains.
Daily Dining Experience
Breakfast is served from 8:00-9:30 AM with homemade granola, fresh fruit, yogurt, and daily hot entrees like eggs Florentine or cottage cheese pancakes. All food is prepared on a 1950s O'Keefe and Merritt stove. Complimentary afternoon tea with baked goods starts at 4 PM, followed by evening wine and hors d'oeuvres. Organic free trade coffee and tea are available 24 hours.

Located in downtown Santa Barbara near State Street. The electric shuttle (50 cents) connects to the waterfront for shopping, kayaking, and whale watching. Walking distance to Granada, Arlington, Lobero, and New Vic theatres, Santa Barbara Bowl concerts, and museums. Mission Street has completed bicycle paths. Free off-street parking available.
